cole william shuherk (rhymes with 'zurich') is pictured above (he did a self portrait). he is a new york-based writer and a semi-retired musician. he is a recent graduate of columbia university's MFA program in fiction, a henfield recipient, and a finalist for the cafe royal cultural foundation's summer literature grant. he has workshopped with a public space and the kenyon review, and teaches creative writing.
